Hadith 987

10-15 Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan b. Aḥmad b. al-Walīd, may God be pleased with him, narrated to us, he said: Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan al-Ṣaffār narrated to us, from al-ʿAbbās b. Maʿrūf, from Saʿdān b. Muslim - whose name was ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Muslim -, from al-Fuḍayl b. Yassār, from Abū Jaʿfar (ʿas), who said
“There are ten characteristics that if anyone were to meet God, Mighty and Exalted, while possessing them, he would enter the Garden. These are: bearing witness that there is no god but God and that Muḥammad, may God bless him and his Family, is the Messenger of God; affirming what the Messenger brought from God, Mighty and Exalted; performing Ṣalāt; giving the Zakāt; fasting in the month of Ramaḍān; performing the pilgrimage of God's House; fellowship of God's friends; eschewal of God's enemies; and avoiding all intoxicants.”
10-15 حدثنا محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الوليد رضي الله عنه قال: حدثنا محمد بن الحسن الصفار، عن العباس بن معروف، عن سعدان بن مسلم واسمه عبدالرحمن بن مسلم، عن الفضيل بن يسار، عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام: قال
عشر من لقى الله عز وجل بهن دخل الجنة: شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله والاقرار بما جاء من عند الله عز وجل، وإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة، وصوم شهر رمضان، وحج البيت والولاية لاولياء الله والبراءة من أعد الله، واجتناب كل مسكر
