6-35 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Ahmad ibn Idris quoted Muhammad ibn Ahmad, on the authority of Aba Abdullah al-Razi, on the authority of Al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Uthman, on the authority of Ahmad ibn Nooh, on the authority of a man, on the authority of Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB) that Al-Harith al-A’oar swore by God and told the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (MGB) that he likes him. The Commander of the Faithful (MGB) told him
“O Harith! You should not act as my enemy, if you like me. You should not play with me; overtake me; tease me; belittle me; quarrel with me or act proudly with me if you like me.”
6-35 حدثنا أبي رضي الله عنه قال: حدثنا أحمد بن إدريس، عن محمد بن أحمد عن أبي عبد الله الرازي، عن الحسن بن علي بن عثمان، عن أحمد بن نوح، عن رجل عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال
الحارث الاعور لامير المؤمنين عليه السلام: يا أمير المؤمنين أنا والله أحبك، فقال له: يا حارث أما إذا أحببتني فلا تخاصمني، ولا تلاعبني، ولا تجاريني ولا تمازحني، ولا تواضعني، ولا ترافعني
