3-131 Muhammad ibn al-Hassan - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Attar and Ahmad ibn Idris quoted on the authority of Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Abi Umayr, on the authority of Al-Hussein ibn Mus’ab that Abu Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB) said, “
God sends down an angel every day to announce: O people! Stop disobedience to God! Were it not for pasturing animals, breast-feeding babies and bent back white bearded old men there would have come to you such a hard punishment that would utterly destroy you.”
