26-9 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Sa’ed ibn Abdullah quoted Ahmad ibn al-Hussein ibn Sa’id, on the authority of Al-Hussein ibn Ali ibn Yaqtayn, on the authority of Bakr ibn Ali ibn Abdul Aziz, on the authority of his father
“I asked Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq how many days there are in one year. He (MGB) replied, ‘There are three-hundred and sixty days in a year. God created this world in 6 days. That is why this was subtracted from three-hundred and sixty. Hence there are three-hundred and fifty-four days in a (lunar) year.”
