12-68 Al-Hassan ibn Abdullah ibn Sa’id al-Askari narrated that his uncle quoted on the authority of Abu Ishaq
“Saqlab named the hours of the night for us as follows: Al-Qasq; Al-Fahme; Al-Eshwa; Al-Huda; Al-Jonh; Al-Hazia; Al-Faqd; Al-Aqr; Al-Zulfa; Al-Sahra; and Al-Bahra. The hours of the day are as follows: Al-Rad; Al-Shuruq; Al-Matu; Al-Tarhil; Al-Dakuk; Al-Januh; Al-Hajeer; Al-Zahira; Al-Aseel and Al-Tifl.”

أملى علينا ثعلب ساعات الليل: الغسق، والفحمة، والعشوة والهدأة، والجنح، والهزيع، والفقد، والعقر، والزلفة، والسحرة.والبهرة، وساعات النهار: الراد، والشروق، والمتوع، والترحل، والدلوك، والجنوح، والهجير، والظهيرة، والاصيل، والطفل
