‘When Amina bint Wahab went behind the curtain, and was taken before the ‘nazool’ of the Prophet (sw), Fatima bint Asad the wife of Abu Talib was present with her. She did not cease to be with her until she was blessed. So one of them said to the other, ‘Did you see what I saw?’ She said, ‘And what did you see?’ She said, ‘This light which has brightened up what is in between the East and the West and what is in between the two as well’.
Then Abu Talib came up to them and said to them both, ‘What is the matter with you two? Which thing has astounded you two?’ So Fatima informed him of the light which she had seen. So Abu Talib said to her, ‘Indeed! I give you good news!’ She said, ‘Yes’. So he said, ‘You will be blessed with the one who will be the successor of this newborn.'"
