From him, from Ahmad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Ra’ib, from Halby who said I heard Abu Abdullah (asws) saying: ‘Dieting is not beneficial to the sick after seven days’. عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) يَقُولُ لَا تَنْفَعُ الْحِمْيَةُ لِمَرِيضٍ بَعْدَ سَبْعَةِ أَيَّامٍ.
