Hadith 805
۞
2. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from ibn Mahbub from ‘ Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hajjaj who has narrated the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Every kind of oath does not make one liable to expiation. If the matter is what Allah has made obligatory on you to do and you take an oath not to do it but you do it there is no expiation on you. If it is not of the matters that Allah has made obligatory on you to do and you take an oath not to do it but you do it, then there is expiation on you.’”
