7. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn Hassan from Muhammad ibn Ali from Ali ibn Fiammad from ibn abu Ya’fur who has narrated the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One who takes a sinful oath can wait only for forty nights (before being struck by misfortune).”’
