3. Ibn Mahbub has narrated from Sayf ibn ‘ Amirah from abu Bakr al-Hadramiy who has narrated the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When a man becomes an apostate (turns away from Islam), his wife becomes a stranger to him, like an irrevocably divorced woman. If he is killed or dies, before completion of ‘Iddah (waiting period), she inherits during her ‘Iddah. He does not inherit her if she dies when he turns away from Islam.’”
