Hadith 289

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub, a number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, and Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father all from ibn Mahbub from Ali ibn Ri’ab and abu Ayyub al-Khazzaz from Zurarah who has narrated the following
“About the case of a man who dies and leaves behind his parents, abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘The father receives two shares and the mother receives one share.”’
1- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ وَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رِئَابٍ وَأَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْخَزَّازِ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام)
فِي رَجُلٍ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ أَبَوَيْهِ قَالَ لِلأبِ سَهْمَانِ وَلِلأمِّ سَهْمٌ.
