۞
9. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from Bakr ibn Salih from Sulayman ibn Ja‘far who has said the following
“I once asked abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), about peacock. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not lawful to use it or its eggs for food.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجَعْفَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
الطَّاوُسُ لَا يَحِلُّ أَكْلُهُ وَ لَا بَيْضُهُ .
