Hadith 888

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘Of the beasts that which have canine teeth and of birds that which have claws are not lawful for food.’ He (the Imam) has said, ‘Do not use any of the beasts for food.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَالَ كُلُّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ وَ مِخْلَبٍ مِنَ الطَّيْرِ حَرَامٌ وَ قَالَ ( عليه السلام ) لَا تَأْكُلْ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ شَيْئاً.
