Hadith 843

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Aii ibn ai-Hakam from Ali ibn abu Hamzah from abu Basir who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Do not use for food an animal eaten by predator, injured because of fall of something on it or fallen from height, unless you arrive in time (when it is still alive) to slaughter it properly.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
لَا تَأْكُلْ مِنْ فَرِيسَةِ السَّبُعِ وَ لَا الْمَوْقُوذَةِ وَ لَا الْمُتَرَدِّيَةِ إِلَّا أَنْ تُدْرِكَهَا حَيَّةً فَتُذَكِّيَ .
