Al-Kāfi
Hadith 775عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ قَالَ حُمِلَتْ إِلَيَّ رَبِيثَا يَابِسَةٌ فِي صُرَّةٍ فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْهَا فَقَالَ كُلْهَا فَلَهَا قِشْرٌ .
5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim from ‘Umar ibn Hanzalah who said: “Dried up rabitha (a type of fish) was sent to me in a sack and I visited Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.), and asked him about it. He (the Imam) said, ‘You can eat it; it has scales.’”
