Hadith 727

10. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from Musa ibn Bakr from Zurarah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If you shoot a prey then find it without any other marks except your arrow and you know that nothing other than your arrow has killed it, you can use it for food, regardless, it had disappeared from you or not.’”
أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ بَكْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
إِذَا رَمَيْتَ فَوَجَدْتَهُ وَ لَيْسَ بِهِ أَثَرٌ غَيْرُ السَّهْمِ وَ تَرَى أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَقْتُلْهُ غَيْرُ سَهْمِكَ فَكُلْ غَابَ عَنْكَ أَوْ لَمْ يَغِبْ عَنْكَ .
