Hadith 724

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from Hisham ibn Salim from Sulayman ibn Khalid who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), about a prey that its owner finds; if he can use it for food. He (the Imam) said, ’If he knows that it is his shot that has killed it, he can use it for food.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الرَّمِيَّةِ يَجِدُهَا صَاحِبُهَا أَ يَأْكُلُهَا قَالَ إِنْ كَانَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّ رَمْيَتَهُ هِيَ الَّتِي قَتَلَتْهُ فَلْيَأْكُلْ .
