Hadith 667

5. Al-Hassan ibn Mahbub has narrated from ‘Abbad ibn Suhayb who has said the following
“A man is placed under arrest by the Imam in the case of al-Li‘an (condemnation). He testifies twice, then refuses and confesses that he has lied before completing al-Li ‘an (condemnation). Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that he is whipped as the penalty for accusing the woman of committing fornication. He is not separated from his woman.’”
الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام )
فِي رَجُلٍ أَوْقَفَهُ الْإِمَامُ لِلِّعَانِ فَشَهِدَ شَهَادَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ نَكَلَ فَأَكْذَبَ نَفْسَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَفْرُغَ مِنَ اللِّعَانِ قَالَ يُجْلَدُ حَدَّ الْقَاذِفِ وَ لَا يُفَرَّقُ بَيْنَهُ وَ بَيْنَ امْرَأَتِهِ .
