Hadith 564

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Jamil ibn Darraj from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about the case of a man who says to his wife, ’You from my side are free, cleared and severed’ or ‘you are unlawful.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It does not have any valid effect.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَقُولُ لِامْرَأَتِهِ أَنْتِ مِنِّي خَلِيَّةٌ أَوْ بَرِيئَةٌ أَوْ بَتَّةٌ أَوْ حَرَامٌ قَالَ لَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ .
