Hadith 469
۞
2. Muhammad ibn Yahya and others have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from Hisham ibn Salim from Sulayman ibn Khalid who said
“I once asked Abu 'Abdillah (a.s.) about a woman whose husband has passed away: where should she observe her waiting period, in her husband's house or wherever she wishes? He said: "Yes, wherever she wishes." Then he said: "When Umar died, Ali (as) came to Umm Kulthum, took her hand, and led her to his house."”
