Hadith 2492

3. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from al-Jamuraniy ibn abu Hamzah from Sayf from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar from abu Basir who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), prohibited his son ’Isma’il from keeping al-Fakhtah (ring pigeon) and said if you must keep a bird, keep Warshan because it speaks of Allah, most Blessed, most High, very often.’”
عَنْهُ عَنِ الْجَامُورَانِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ سَيْفٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّهُ نَهَى ابْنَهُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ اتِّخَاذِ الْفَاخِتَةِ وَ قَالَ
إِنْ كُنْتَ لَا بُدَّ مُتَّخِذاً فَاتَّخِذْ وَرَشَاناً فَإِنَّهُ كَثِيرُ الذِّكْرِ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى .
