Hadith 2455
۞
6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ibn Mahbub from Muhammad ibn Marid who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘If a family keeps a milking goat, reverence and blessing is sent on them. If they are two, the family is revered and blessed twice a day.’ Certain persons of our people then said, ‘How are they revered?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘An angels stands on them every morning and says, “You are revered and blessed, you are fine and your sauce is fine.’ I then asked, ‘What is the meaning of ‘ qudistum ’ (you are revered)?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It means, ‘You are cleansed.’”
