۞
6. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from ibn Sinan who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about growing long hairs. He (the Imam) said that companions of the Holy Prophet, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, clipped their hairs.’”
أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) مَا تَقُولُ فِي إِطَالَةِ الشَّعْرِ فَقَالَ كَانَ أَصْحَابُ مُحَمَّدٍ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مُشْعِرِينَ يَعْنِي الطَّمَّ .
