Hadith 2029

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ya‘qub ibn Yazid from Ibrahim ibn ‘Uqbah from Sayabah ibn Ayyub from Muhammad ibn al-Fadl from ‘Abd al-Rahim al-Qasir who has said the following
“Once, the governor summoned a man of Ale abu Talib in a criminal case, and he passed by abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), who said, ‘Follow him with a ring of ‘Aqiq (carnelian)’. ‘Aqiq (carnelian) ring was brought and he did not experience any undesirable matters.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ سَيَابَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْقَصِيرِ قَالَ
بَعَثَ الْوَالِي إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ آلِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فِي جِنَايَةٍ فَمَرَّ بِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَقَالَ أَتْبِعُوهُ بِخَاتَمِ عَقِيقٍ فَأُتِيَ بِخَاتَمِ عَقِيقٍ فَلَمْ يَرَ مَكْرُوهاً .
