Hadith 1972

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman from Shu’ayb from abu Basir who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘Good shoes (footgear) are protection for the body and helps for Salat (prayer) and al-Tahur (cleansing).”’
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) اسْتِجَادَةُ الْحِذَاءِ وِقَايَةٌ لِلْبَدَنِ وَ عَوْنٌ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَ الطَّهُورِ.
