Hadith 1971

4. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Yahya ibn Ibrahim ibn abu al-Balad from his father from al-Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, once said to me, ‘Find for me capes but do not color them; a master like me does not wear them, that is, you must not (make them of a large size to require you to) break (fold) them.’”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي الْبِلَادِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) اتَّخِذْ لِي قَلَنْسُوَةً وَ لَا تَجْعَلْهَا مُصَبَّغَةً فَإِنَّ السَّيِّدَ مِثْلِي لَا يَلْبَسُهَا يَعْنِي لَا تُكَسِّرْهَا .
