Hadith 1919

8. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Ja‘far ibn ‘Isa who has said the following
“I once wrote to Abu al-Hassan al-Rida (a.s.) about animals from the fur of which al-Khazz is made; if such animals are of predators.’ He (the Imam (as)) wrote in answer, ‘Al-Husayn bin Ali (as) wore al-Khazz (garments made from skin or fur of an animal that lives in water), and after him my grandfather also did so.’”
عَنْهُ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عِيسَى قَالَ
كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) أَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الدَّوَابِّ الَّتِي يُعْمَلُ الْخَزُّ مِنْ وَبَرِهَا أَ سِبَاعٌ هِيَ فَكَتَبَ ( عليه السلام ) لَبِسَ الْخَزَّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ جَدِّي ( عليهما السلام ) .
