4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from al-Hassan ibn ‘Atiyyah from ‘Umar ibn Yazid who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who recommends the use of boiled juice (grape juice) and he is not one of our people. He (the Imam) said, ‘If he is one who considers intoxicating substances lawful, then do not use it but if he considers it unlawful then you can use it for drink,’ or that he (the Imam) said, ‘You can drink it.’”
