Hadith 1740

9. Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Bandar has narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from a number of our people from Ali ibn Asbat from Ali ibn Ja‘far who has said the following
“I once asked my brother, abu al-Hassan ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about kohl made into dough with al- Nabidh; if it is proper. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, it is not proper.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُنْدَارَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عِدَّةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْكُحْلِ يُعْجَنُ بِالنَّبِيذِ أَ يَصْلُحُ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ لَا .
