Hadith 1479

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida 5 (a.s.), has said, Tigs remove bad-breath (halitosis), brings firmness to the teeth and bones, grows hairs and dispels illness and with it medicine is not needed. 5 He (the Imam) has said, ‘The fig is most similar to the plants of paradise. 5 ” Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from Ahmad ibn al-Ash‘ath from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn abu Nasr a similar Hadith.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
التِّينُ يَذْهَبُ بِالْبَخَرِ وَ يَشُدُّ الْفَمَ وَ الْعَظْمَ وَ يُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ وَ يَذْهَبُ بِالدَّاءِ وَ لَا يُحْتَاجُ مَعَهُ إِلَى دَوَاءٍوَ قَالَ ( عليه السلام ) التِّينُ أَشْبَهُ شَيْءٍ بِنَبَاتِ الْجَنَّةِ.
