Hadith 144

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Circumcision for boys is because of Sunnah but circumcision for girls is not because of Sunnah.”’
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
خِتَانُ الْغُلَامِ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ وَ خَفْضُ الْجَوَارِي لَيْسَ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ .
