Hadith 130

5. Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from certain persons of his people from Aban from Yahya ibn abu al-‘Ala’ who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has stated this Hadith. ‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, named al-Hassan and al-Husayn, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, on the seventh day from their birth, offered a sheep for ‘Aqiqah, one leg of the sheep was sent to al-Qabilah (the special nurse) and the rest was kept. They ate thereof and gave as a gift to neighbors. Fatimah, ‘Alayha al-Salam, shaved their heads and gave in charity silver by the weight of the hairs.”’
الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
سَمَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) حَسَناً وَ حُسَيْناً ( عليهما السلام ) يَوْمَ سَابِعِهِمَا وَ عَقَّ عَنْهُمَا شَاةً شَاةً وَ بَعَثُوا بِرِجْلِ شَاةٍ إِلَى الْقَابِلَةِ وَ نَظَرُوا مَا غَيْرُهُ فَأَكَلُوا مِنْهُ وَ أَهْدَوْا إِلَى الْجِيرَانِ وَ حَلَقَتْ فَاطِمَةُ ( عليها السلام ) رُءُوسَهُمَا وَ تَصَدَّقَتْ بِوَزْنِ شَعْرِهِمَا فِضَّةً .
