Hadith 748

13. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Jamil ibn Darraj from Hamzah ibn Humran who has said the following
“I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘I go to the market to buy a slave-girl and she says that she is free. He (the Imam) said, ‘You can buy her unless she presents proof of her freedom.’”
13- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ حُمْرَانَ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَدْخُلُ السُّوقَ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَشْتَرِيَ جَارِيَةً فَتَقُولُ لِي إِنِّي حُرَّةٌ فَقَالَ اشْتَرِهَا إِلا أَنْ تَكُونَ لَهَا بَيِّنَةٌ.
