14. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn Mughirah from al-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), issued a judgment about the animal of a man who had abandoned it as follows: ‘If he has left it near water, and proper and safe pasture it is for him. He takes it wherever he finds it. If he has left it in an unsafe place, without water and pasture, it then is for the one who finds it.’”
