Hadith 437

10. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ibrahim ibn Ishaq from ‘Abd Allah ibn Hammad from abu Basir who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Whoever finds something it is for him to benefit thereby until the owner comes. He then must give it to the owner.” (Consult Fatwa also.)
10- عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
مَنْ وَجَدَ شَيْئاً فَهُوَ لَهُ فَلْيَتَمَتَّعْ بِهِ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُ طَالِبُهُ فَإِذَا جَاءَ طَالِبُهُ رَدَّهُ إِلَيْهِ.
