“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Once the disciples of Jesus gathered around him and said, “O teacher of goodness teach us guidance.” Jesus said to them, “Moses has commanded you not to falsely swear by Allah and I command you not to swear even in a truthful manner.” They said, “O Spirit of Allah, please give us more guidance.” He then said, “Moses, the Holy Prophet of Allah, has commanded you not to commit fornication and I command you not to even speak to your souls about fornication, not to speak of committing fornication, because one who speaks to his soul about fornication is like one who decorates a house and smoke destroys the house even though it does not burn down the whole house.’”
