Hadith 1962

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from af-Nawfaliy from af-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘You must not lodge women in a chamber, do not teach them writing (that would lead to unlawful behavior), but teach them the spinning wheel and Chapter 24 of the Quran.’”
1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) لا تُنْزِلُوا النِّسَاءَ بِالْغُرَفِ وَلا تُعَلِّمُوهُنَّ الْكِتَابَةَ وَعَلِّمُوهُنَّ الْمِغْزَلَ وَسُورَةَ النُّورِ.
