“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a woman who tries her husband but he is not able to go to bed with her; if they must be separated from each other. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, if she wants separation.’ Ibn Muskan has said that in another Hadith he (the Imam) has said that she must wait for one year and if he still is not able to go to bed with her, she can leave him, but if she likes to stay with him she can do so.’”
