“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), informed me that his father (a.s.), has narrated that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, gave the land of Khaybar and its palm trees for half. When fruits ripened he (the Messenger of Allah) delegated ‘Abd Allah ibn Rawahah who appraised and said to them, ‘You can take it and pay me half of the appraised value or I pay you half of the appraised value and take the produce.’ They said, ‘This is (justice) the fact upon which the skies and earth are maintained.’”
