7. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub from al-Fadl ibn Yunus who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan, Musa (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not obligatory upon a slave to perform al-Hajj or al-‘Umrah until he is free.’”
7ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ يُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمَمْلُوكِ حَجٌّ وَلا عُمْرَةٌ حَتَّى يُعْتَقَ.
