Hadith 801

2. Ali has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from all from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who receives a domesticated pigeon as a gift in al-Haram (the sacred area). He (the Imam) said, ‘If he hurts it he must give an amount of charity which is equal to its value.’”
2ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ أُهْدِيَ لَهُ حَمَامٌ أَهْلِيٌّ وَهُوَ فِي الْحَرَمِ فَقَالَ إِنْ هُوَ أَصَابَ مِنْهُ شَيْئاً فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِثَمَنِهِ نَحْواً مِمَّا كَانَ يَسْوَى فِي الْقِيمَةِ.
