Hadith 789

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Ali ibn al-Hakam from and Safwan from al-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not proper for a man to stay in Makkah for one year.’ I then asked, ‘What should he do?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘He must move out, and it is not proper for anyone to build anything higher than al-Ka‘bah.’” It is narrated that staying in Makkah hardens (removes good feelings from) one’s heart.
1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ وَصَفْوَانَ عَنِ الْعَلاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
لا يَنْبَغِي لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يُقِيمَ بِمَكَّةَ سَنَةً قُلْتُ كَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ قَالَ يَتَحَوَّلُ عَنْهَا وَلا يَنْبَغِي لأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ بِنَاءً فَوْقَ الْكَعْبَةِ. وَرُوِيَ أَنَّ الْمُقَامَ بِمَكَّةَ يُقْسِي الْقُلُوبَ.
