4. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Hafs ibn Sa‘id ibn Yasar who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who escorts his brother in the month of Ramadan until he travels the distance of one day’s journey or with a man from his brothers if he is required to fast. He (the Imam) said, ‘He is required to stop fasting.’”
