4. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa’id from Ali ibn al-Nu’man from Sa‘id al-’A’raj who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of one who while fasting, tastes something but does not swallow. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, it not permissible.’”
