Hadith 426

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Khalid from Sa‘d ibn Sa‘d al-Ash’ariy who has said the following
“I once asked al-Rida’ (a.s.), about a man who suffers from an eye-ache in the month of Ramadan; if he can sprinkle his eyes during the day in the month of Ramadan when he is fasting. He (the Imam) said, ’He can do so when he is not fasting but he cannot do so when he is fasting.’”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الأَشْعَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَمَّنْ يُصِيبُهُ الرَّمَدُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ هَلْ يَذُرُّ عَيْنَهُ بِالنَّهَارِ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ قَالَ يَذُرُّهَا إِذَا أَفْطَرَ وَلا يَذُرُّهَا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ.
