Hadith 404

6. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from certain persons of our people from Muthanna’ al-Hannat and al- Hassan al-Sayqal who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who is fasting and immerses himself in water. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, he must not do so and also one who is in the state of Ihram.’ He (the narrator) has said that he asked him (the Imam) about one who is fasting, puts on wet clothes. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, he must not do so.’”
6ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ مُثَنًّى الْحَنَّاطِ وَالْحَسَنِ الصَّيْقَلِ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنِ الصَّائِمِ يَرْتَمِسُ فِي الْمَاءِ قَالَ لا وَلا الْمُحْرِمُ قَالَ وَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الصَّائِمِ يَلْبَسُ الثَّوْبَ الْمَبْلُولَ قَالَ لا.
