Hadith 341

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Ali ibn al-Salt from Zur‘ah ibn Muhammad (from Sama‘ah) and al-Mufaddal ibn ‘Umar who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.), would fast during the month of Sha‘ban and the month of Ramadan in a continuous manner and would say, ‘Fasting during two months in a continuous manner is returning to Allah.’”
3ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الصَّلْتِ عَنْ زُرْعَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ وَعَنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ (عَلَيْهِما السَّلاَم) يَصِلُ مَا بَيْنَ شَعْبَانَ وَرَمَضَانَ وَيَقُولُ صَوْمُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ تَوْبَةٌ مِنَ الله.
