Hadith 1418

7. Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn abu Hamzah from abu Basir who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who kills a fox. He (the Imam) said, ‘He owes one animal offering.’ I asked about his killing a rabbit. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is like what is for a fox.’”
7ـ سَهْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَتَلَ ثَعْلَباً قَالَ عَلَيْهِ دَمٌ قُلْتُ فَأَرْنَباً قَالَ مِثْلُ مَا عَلَى الثَّعْلَبِ.
