“I once went to visit abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), when al-Harith ibn al-Mughirah also came and said, ‘I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause. I have a daughter who looks after every one of my things and she is the first one. Can I assign my al-Hajj for her? He (the Imam) said, ‘The reward for al-Hajj will be for her and you will have a similar reward without any reduction in her reward.’”
