Hadith 959

30. It is narrated from the same narrator as the previous Hadith from Fadalah from Isma’il ibn abu Ziyad who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘One who counts tomorrow as part of his life, he has not paid proper attention to death.’ The Imam then said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘Any servant of Allah who cherishes long-term worldly expectations, he becomes involved in bad deeds.’ ’Amir al-Mu’minin would say, ‘A servant of Allah who sees his death fast approaching, he dislikes the deeds for the sake of the worldly life.’”
